What steps can I take to ensure my telehealth session is effective?
Choose a Quiet Environment: Find a quiet room with minimal distractions. Using headphones with a built-in microphone can enhance audio quality.
Be Prepared with Supplies: Have a pen and paper handy to take notes during your session.
Use a Suitable Device: While sessions can be conducted on your cell phone, using a larger screen may be beneficial, especially if your dietitian will be sharing their screen.
Join Early: Click on the meeting link at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure you are ready for the session.
What can I expect in the initial session?
The initial session (60 minutes) is a chance for us to get acquainted. We’ll discuss your goals by examining your experiences, your current situation, and where you see yourself heading. We’ll develop strategies for both long-term and short-term goals and outline how check-in visits can help you achieve these objectives.
What can I expect at follow-up visits?
Follow-up visits enable important progress. During these 40-minute sessions, we can review short-term goals and evaluate long-term objectives. It’s an opportunity for us to connect regularly and discuss any obstacles you might be facing. Additionally, it’s a time for you to ask questions and for us to develop strategies to overcome any challenges.
How long will we work together?
Your personalized nutrition plan is designed to meet your specific needs and goals. We suggest beginning with at least two to three sessions to address core topics. Clients experience greater success with ongoing support using our options, ranging from single sessions to package plans.
What should I do next, my doctor referred me to you?
We gladly accept doctor referrals. Simply email us at support@nutritionalglo.com, provide the referring doctor’s information, and we will get in touch with you soon.
